The Pastoral Care and Fellowship team
aim to offer support for those in need, for example the sick, those
in hospital, the bereaved, those with new babies. This support
may be practical, with prayer, through listening or whatever is required
given the circumstances. We have a visiting team who visit members
of the church who are no longer able to get to church on a regular
basis,
and offer them CD’s of the sermons. Prayer for the church, the
community and the world is organised by our prayer secretary. Friday Coffee’s has become a Banchory
Institution. The West Church Centenary Hall is turned into a coffee
shop every Friday morning, offering coffee, tea and home bakes.
It is staffed by a huge team of volunteers from all 5 church is the
town and offers a place for people to meet for a chat over a cup of
coffee. At the same time Noah’s Ark provides a place for Mum/Dad’s
and carers of under 3’s to come and meet. Below is a list of some of the areas
